For some people polygraphs are intimidating, so they don't do well. The only poly I had was suppose to be a 15 minute affair, in and out. Well, it took about an hour. My employer that hired me anyway, had a laugh about the level of honesty shown, because taking pens that you do not pay for and have not asked to take, is stealing....

Right,I got the job too but I did fail the lie detector test and I did tell the truth,in my mind I did something but in reality I did not ,so they had to do a background check with the police.
