Because of the swelling, the next time you see your doctor, please mention the yellow jacket stings. Reason: this may mean you are allergic to the stings, and if you are stung in the future, the reaction may be more severe.
This type of reaction happened to me with shrimp (from handling shrimp and the enzymes got inside a cut on my hand), and the doc said the reaction gets worse with each exposure.
Same type of reaction -- but if it's worse, can end in death. It's called anaphylactic shock:
A sudden, severe allergic reaction characterized by a sharp drop in blood pressure, urticaria, and breathing difficulties that is caused by exposure to a foreign substance, such as a drug or bee venom, after a preliminary or sensitizing exposure. The reaction may be fatal if emergency treatment, including epinephrine injections, is not given immediately.

Salt pork is good, too. If I didn't have any, I'd just salt bacon real good. The salt draws the poison out, I was told. The cold of the meat feels good.
I really feel for you. I got stung by a black hornet in the neck gland when I was a young girl. I was paralyzed for about 5 minutes. Couldn't move. Couldn't scream. My voice came back first, but nobody heard me. Then I was able to move.
I hope you listen to people on this thread about seeking medical attention. Nothing to play around with!
To: All
Thank you all. I didn't mean to take Elizabeth's thread from her. The only reason I posted about the bees, was, I looked at my original thread post #1, and it looked "blah," so that's why I mentioned it.
Has anyone heard anything new, at all?

Thank you TheDon for your enlightening posts and theories. I never even knew there was such thing as a middle east slave trade until you brought these things to my attention. Anybody would have to be blind not to see some sort of connection between the Smarts and a mid east slave trade, especially considering the close proximity to the horrific events of 9/11.
I have been working on a new theory. It involves the russian mob, LDS, the Smarts, the Francoms, SLC police, polygomy sects and the Riccis. It will take me a while to tie together all the loose ends, but I assure you it will be a real eye opener. That's right folks, I think the police are in on this coverup. Here is the real shocker.......many SLC police officers I have discovered have connections to the Russian mob. This is no coicidence...... all I needed to was follow the money trail. Ed Smart likes to play a good hearted, mild mannered, naive and sweet father doing everything to find his kidnapped daughter on television appearances, but he doesn't fool me one bit. I know he was the mastermind behind Liz's disappearance. I can't believe how blind I was before. All anyone needs to do is a little investigating to discover the REAL truth.
You are 100% correct the Don, follow the money ;)

You didn't take away the thread, IamHD. I think we may be here for quite a while, so conversation helps people get to know one another a little better; and it sure beats flamers! The focus and our concern is still on little Elizabeth. That is obvious, or none of us would be here.
To: JudyB1938
Thanks, Judy. I was thinking, that Elizabeth will (should be) starting school soon, too. But, don't see that happening any time soon. :(

Do you have source proof for such a statement, that the SLC police are tied in with the Russian Mafia? Don't tell me that George Soros is the mastermind behind all of this. LOL
I do not agree that Mr. Smart is part of the plot to take Elizabeth. If he were, I don't think he would be actively seeking the constant media attention that he does.
We all agree there's something weird going on, but I don't think it's as complicated as your scenario. Just my opinion, of course.

Hehe, yeah, that's the ticket. :)

Thanks for starting the thread, even though there's no new news. Anyone who hasn't read brigette's archived articles on the Beesley attempted kidnapping should go back and look them over. Might there be a Campbell-Smart-Ricci connection?

Ed Smart suspects collusion
By Derek Jensen Deseret News staff writer
Edward Smart says he believes the person who kidnapped his daughter from her bedroom more than two months ago wasn't acting alone.
"We feel that our lead suspect is in custody, but we feel that other people were involved but we haven't been able to find those other people," Smart told a handful of reporters at the family's tri-weekly press conference Monday morning.
The "lead suspect" Smart referred to is former handyman Richard Ricci, who police said Monday still tops their list of "potential" suspects. Ricci was arrested on a parole violation following the kidnapping but has denied any involvement in Elizabeth Smart's disappearance.
As to the family's theory that Elizabeth's kidnapper was working in cahoots with others, police say they haven't ruled that out as a possibility.
"That's a good theory," Salt Lake Police Capt. Scott Atkinson said. "At this point we're not ruling out anything. We're still wide open. It could be one guy, it could be many people but we don't know that."
Smart said his theory was not based on any information police had told him but rather on his belief that his daughter "is being held out there by someone." The 14-year-old blond girl has been missing since June 5, when an armed intruder took her from her Federal Heights home in the early morning hours.
"I really, really want to hear from you," Smart said in an open plea to whoever may be holding his daughter.
At Monday's press conference, the family continued to ask anyone with possible tips to call police. Family spokesman Chris Thomas said they're hoping one of the those tips will be the puzzle piece that ties the whole case together.
"Please don't hold back, thinking that your lead is insignificant," Smart said.
Volunteers spent the weekend searching Big Mountain and the Jordan River in hopes of finding any clues into Elizabeth's strange disappearance. More than two months into the case, police have not named an official suspect or found the missing girl.
"Elizabeth, wherever you are out there, know that we are not giving up in any way, shape or form," Smart said.

You're quite welcome. I have read the articles, and am really stunned that even the instigator of this attempted kidnapping, only got 5 years! All that, and with a death penalty state, yet! With good time, he probably only did 1/2 of his sentence. I'm sure that LE has checked all three out, don't you?
