I'm in favor of getting the government out of the 'dope' business, however.

I'm in favor of getting the government out of a lot of things, not just the dope business. But I must go one step further; I'm in favor of everyone getting out of the dope business (for reasons you can probably guess, but that I won't go into at this time).
