My whole contention was this: If Brenda's statement was true - then perhaps Danielle had walked out of the house by herself - thus there were no clues to be found in the house regarding Westerfield or anyone else being in the house who were not supposed to be there.

  Keep in mind that it also means she could have wandered into the motor home at some point in the past as well. This is why, during the trial at least, the VanDams have claimed Danielle did not wander off on her own.

Yes, I've thought of that. I've also wondered if there was something going on with Danielle and the Westerfield boy - perhaps in the motorhome?

Now if it's true she really had wandered off before, why did they call 911 so quick this time. Maybe they knew they won't find her this time.
