Eva, I think you and I are the only 2 people in the world who think the dad was involved. I have thought so from the beginning. Then, when court first started and the dad was stalking Westerfield, I wondered why the dad was getting so upset.

Also, I agree the letter and the running away is a sign of abuse in the home.

If the dad was high on dope and the mom was out partying, the dad could have ... especially if Westerfield had shown up at the door before Brenda got home - telling the dad that Brenda had invited him. I don't know, this swinging lifestyle has a lot of jealousy to deal with and some people don't handle it well.

Every day we discuss how most of us think Damon is involved, that he molested her. We were discussing it earlier on this thread.

Add me to the list of those that think Damon was involved in Danielle's death. Freepers recently have produced stories showing Damon nearby at the time of the disappearance of several people. In Florida, Texas and Calif. Even the Walsh case. Someone has been looking all over for the name of the teen-ager that was in the same arcade when the kid disappeared. Damon would have been a teen-ager at that time and lived in Florida. (Coincidence?) I don't know anything about it but plenty of people here do.

I don't like Damon.

There are a number of people who think that Damon is involved. Brenda, probably not.

I don't think that Damon was jealous, because I think that it was Damon who was the real swinger, not Brenda. My guess is that Damon was encouraging the Westerfield/Brenda relationship because Brenda was not having such an easy time attracting the men in their groups.

Maybe Westerfield did stop by the house and Damon told him that Brenda was not back yet and offered him Danielle instead. Maybe Danielle was already dead. I don't know what the the truth is, but I do think that Damon is involved. That diary is just heart wrenching. Also, it is my guess that the diary is what the judge supressed and Feldman has only been able to hint at the abuse.
