I thought it was like - the jurors had to go along and take each point which apparantly indicates guilt - consider that point and whether or not there is another reasonable interpretation - if there is - they are to sort of discard it - not use it in the total picture so to speak? That is not correct?

According to Dusek that is nto true either in accordance with the instructions or with the law or with common sense as demonstrated by some examples.
