The dogs...according to Frazee there was an alert. Understand, Frazee is asked to participate in the biggest case in San Diego...he's excited. Then he says if the dog alerts he's not supposed to tell the cops? I'm sorry, that's absurd. But that is his testimony. He finds "chilling information," he says. But he doesn't tell anybody. Lt. Tomsovic testified he saw no alert and Frazee said nothing about any alert. The shovel is a red herring.

The body hadn't been found yet, so Frazee was excited thinking he was going to crack the case. Wrote email to friends and called it "secret message." In message he says he wasn't sure, he can't say what reaction was. He didn't know what the dog was doing.

The dog was trained to give a clear and unequivocable alert. But even his handler was unsure. But by the time he gets to the witness stand, he's right on the money. The dog alerted. But that's NOT what happened.

There's no way, unless the prosecution calls Tomsovic a liar, that the dog alerted. The wanted the spin on the shovel. If it's true that the shovel was used to bury Danielle 2 days before, why would DAW carry that shovel around for 2 days, then walk the body up a very steep hill that the cops even have trouble getting to, and then not use the shovel? It's grasping.
