If DW is acquitted, he may very well have a case against Court TV, based on what I have read here. I have not seen Court TV so I can make specific comments.

"He was the *last* one to see her that night. He was the
one in charge that night. He put her to bed. Everything
else just began to fall into place for me."
That has also stuck in my mind.
Besides how can you dimiss this motley crew so easily??
I thought Feldnam did great with the unidentified prints in the house today.
And with Dusek telling the jury to basically go along with the others, I was thinking if I was on the jury I would dig my heels in so deep, no way would I vote guilty just because "everybody's doing it"

Look, just because Kim and others post any kind of bogus information that supports their opinions on here, it doesn't mean any of the rest of us have to buy it. If you don't like it, tough. If you have an opinion, it's fine to say so. Just don't try to pass it off as a fact.

Glad to have you in this camp nycgal. I'm a native NYer my self. Born in Oswego. Have lived most of my life on the left coast though.
If you get any good stuff from people about Damon, please FReepmail me - thanks.

I wonder if any of Feldman investigators looked into that angle. Once neighbors realized Danielle wasn't coming home, probably dead, and the police were after DW for it, they changed their tune and shut their mouths.
They all felt 'sorry' for the Van Dam's and apparently decided that , at the time, the info wouldn't make a difference as EVERYONE KNEW by that time (thanks to the RICK AND JOHN JACKASS SHOW) that DW did it.
To: nycgal
Most of the participants on these threads believe Damon either did it or had some direct involvement in Danielle's death. You know I think that, too, but I think DW should look for ways to get out of all this without pointing at Damon. The facts thus far would seem to indicate that he somehow has some hidden protection, so don't make it necessary to defeat that in order to get your life back.
Try this: forget our involvement in this case so far. On the face of it, which is more plausible -- the dad from the family with the backward locks on the garage snapped and killed his daughter, or the semi-retired design engineer from down the street snapped and horribly victimized the family with the backward locks in the garage?
The family with the backward locks ...

Welcome aboard Yeti - since you are so convinced there is "tons" of stuff not being told - do you also believe there could have been a 3-some relationship with the parents and Westerfield?? Or a foursome, including Westerfield's girlfriend?

It's very easy for a 7 yr. old to pull out the step-up.
I've seen 4 yr. olds that do it without difficulty.

Deejay...Could you start a list of things that might lead to Damon as suspect??
l.Last to see Danielle alive.
2. Was near Desha (spelling?) on Feb, 16...key date in bug evidence.
3. Wore ORANGE vest while in desert handing out flyers with friend.
4. Got rid of blue van quickly after Danielle missing.
5. Repainted walls in bedroom
etc., etc., etc.
Anybody else have contributions to this list?

I know you had to go make dinner so you missed Dusek, but don't worry, he didn't finish so you'll get to see him tomorrow :)

I'll tell ya something else, if Damon & Derek had
gone on that snowboarding trip & Brenda would have
had a babysitter, we would not be here today discussing
this. Brenda would have gone home, she would have been
paying a sitter, the other two would have left, but no, they all wanted to go in the house to see Damon. I'm sure of it.
It's just the conclusion I came to after doing all
the research.
To: KnutCase
The orange vest means nothing. Those mesh type vests are made with polypropelene fibers, not nylon or acrylic.

I can't believe he didn't finish today!!! Won't you be listening tomorrow?

Damon (and Brenda) lied to the police
about events of the previous night. In
fact, it took the police *SIX* interviews
to get to the truth.
*SIX* interviews, folks!! Amazing!

Hmmmm? So, what I hear you saying is you think it is "my opinion" that Danielle went out of the house by herself? Is that correct?
How did you come to that conclusion??
I said, BRENDA SAID Danielle would run off and they would have to search for her. I didn't make that up - I saw the interview on TV when she said it. If Brenda was lying, I have no way to prove otherwise. Brenda's statement is not a figment of my imagination. I heard her, and I saw her make the statement.
My whole contention was this: If Brenda's statement was true - then perhaps Danielle had walked out of the house by herself - thus there were no clues to be found in the house regarding Westerfield or anyone else being in the house who were not supposed to be there.
