You forgot to remind everbody that Hoagland (lovingly known in the a.f.a-b ng as "Hoaxland") was a former advisor
to Walter Cronkite (during Apollo), good friend of Arthur C. Clarke, best buddies with Gene Roddenberry,
and, gadfly to NASA (not that they don't deserve it, and I'm hard pressed to come up with a better PITA).

The mold on Hoagie's resume is so old that the EPA is fighting with the CDC to decide whether it's a
candidate for a Superfund site, or a unique life form.

Oh, and he is supposedly involved in a "Face on Mars" movie, and you can be in it, too. I think all you have to do
is buy his book and fax your acting portfolio to his broken fax machine whenever they can afford to fix it.

(I think he was claiming to be the first person to say there was ice/water on Mars. I (thankfully) fell asleep at that point.
