We had a neighbor who would send their youngest child into the neighbors house to see if the coast was clear. If it was they helped themselves. No more unlocked doors in our neighborhood.

You know that dog story was amazing.
From what I read the dog's nose was split. It bled alot, so much that the VD's had to put the dog outside, to let it bleed out there I guess. The cause: ran into Damons's leg,right. I say, it took a good punch or kick to split that dogs nose.

I don't think Damon wanted the MH gone out of concern for his kids. I think it was jealousy or 'keeping up appearances' in the neighborhood.

That was my first thought when I heard of the MH having to be moved. I know as a kid my parents had a MH and every kid that saw it wanted to see inside.
Can you think of a better place to hide during hide 'n' seek? Especially if your younger brother is playing and wouldn't even think about you being in there? I mean they have that neat one way glass inside and you can look out at all your friends looking for you.
Now, if mom and dad found out about it cause brother ratted on you they would want MH out of there in the worst way but wouild not want to admit to not watching their kids.
