I've got The Black Book of Communism. That details most of the atrocities committed in the name of earthly utopia. Most of it derives from the Venona decrypts and other documents in KGB and Kremlin archives. It is a true-to-life horror story that makes the Holocaust pale by comparison. The level of brutality is equal and the scope wider.

Yet even today, in the Home of the Free, we have a group of socialists who would implement the same infernal agenda. Try to advance the cause of Nazism and see how far you get. But embrace a purely socialist ethos and nobody says a word.

Yet socialism has a far bloodier lineage.

I should know about that lineage, though. The blood of my family has been used to nurture it. How I HATE Communists. Funny how they just gloss over the deaths of so many innocent people and yet continue to persist in the notion that socialism and communism are better than what we have, now.

Somewhere on the web is a page listing the (millions of) deaths due to gun confiscation. IIRC there were a number of Communist states on it. Maybe someone else knows where it is?

Another source that's dry as a Kansas county but full of Soviet subterfuge is The Soviet World of American Communism, by Harvey Klehr, John Earl Haynes, and Kyrill M. Anderson. It is published by Yale University Press, and the Black Book is from Harvard. (Ironic, isn't it, that the two biggest factories for socialists are the publishers of what should be their death warrants?)
