Why does everyone forget the forensic evidence of the beetle activity. The reason that Faulkner nailed down his date so precisely is that there was no evidence of beetle reproduction on the body, and that lack of activity precluded any date earlier than Feb 16th. This fact has not been refuted by any of the other experts, and it is a fact that was stressed in re-direct by Feldman, and it is one that I am sure will be stressed in closing arguments.

I think people might forget beacause the press is so wrapped up in Neal's testimony, how damaging it was for the defense...
This is easier to wrap their little minds around instead of having to read all that hard science stuff. Besides it fits their theory so nicely.

Great catch Dave. Not only was it not refuted, I don't recall it being addressed, or addressed much. They've been too obsessed with blowflies and when the ants come marching in, hurrah, hurrah.
Maybe the insects carted off the Dog hairs that would be yet another link. /so
