I thought I heard something on WFAN that Kenny Rogers was going to waive the no-trade clause. At any rate, I've watched him in the postseason with the Mets and Yankees; if there's anybody who's today's Mr. May and not Mr. October, it's him. He only pitches well when nothing is on the line!

Dag....I think the Reds need to go for someone who is more than "final yr of his contract" type of player. I dont want to give up on 2 or three prospects ust for a rent a pitch guy who has no intention of signing on with the Reds. For the Rangers, they would be dumb not to take the trade...for Rogers, it is good as well. A chance to make the playoffs and to sign back with the Rangers again. Its a gamble for him...if he does well, I suspect he will get a good contract after the season, if he doesnt, he might not get a chance with the Rangers.
