Why Was That Deleted?

Re: Men vs. Women post of a few minutes ago.
This was generating a huge response, which seems to indicate that it was an important topic.
Why isn't the reasoning for deletions made clear so that we know the ground rules better and can try and persuade the moderators when they seem to error?

until she can get papersGetting papers is not difficult. Time consuming maybe, but not difficult.

Importing a third world woman because you cannot communicate with your female peers is just long-contract prostitution until she can get papers to stay in this country permanently. I've heard this story from ***guys***. I knew a lot of ***guys*** who married women from the PI and from Korea who were in very happy, very stable, and very long-term marriages.
But that's my experience.

Just curious - when you say "peers," do you actually mean "coworkers"? In what situations would you consider a woman to be a man's peer?

Men who cannot establish relationships with home-grown women tend to import. Sorry, but that is how it works. Yeah, I guess it had nothing to do with the fact that they were living in Korea or the PI.

Bless your heart.
But to stick with the "correctness" of this thread I have to tell you I'm sorely disappointed it was a woman who made me happy happy happy tonight.
(Thanks a bunch!)

I agree. It has been posted many times that we are all just words on a screen and not real people. I think some people agree with that, it takes away the guilt of being nasty to others.
Instead of being nasty I keep a little list of who is naughty and nice and who I don't respond to. My time is precious and I do not suffer fools gladly.
On the other hand I have met some of the most fascinating people here. People who I greatly admire and who I have a great deal in common with. I travel the country and in my travels have also met selected Freepers and have been very happy to have them as friends. As I said early, this is a cross section of society, but since most of us have like values, I expect a little higher dialogue.
But then again it is Saturday night, and since I am no longer allowed to post threads like " What is your pirate name", this will have to do.

and since I am no longer allowed to post threads like " What is your pirate name", What?! I always loved those. ;-)

Remember what the "Marriage Strike" thread was about . It concerned an article credited to the Philadelphia Inquirer -- a very commie lib publication -- but also carried by Worldnetdaily.com saying we men are not getting married due to the fear of mistreatment in family courts.
I have no experience with family courts but I suspect there is a degree of truth to the article's central point.

How many screen names have you had here?I've had 3 screen names:
"Glum": About 6 months ago I used this for one evening and then forgot the password.
"Trying": I used this for an hour yesterday morning and was kicked off for not documenting my charge against a public figure. I agreed with the moderator in that case, and am repentant.
Why do you ask?

Does a screenname that is not used for a certain amount of time deleted? Just wondering since this one person has created 3 so far.....

There are many threads we all used to love, but alas they are considered a waste of bandwidth.
So Nigella Lawson and I will just sit around and make a glorious bernaise for our filets, and then finish with poached pears on fresh vanilla ice cream. STYLE channel, 8 and 11 pm.
