No, not really...you're the one going off on tangents. I was referring to salaries, but not profits, hence my 'business side' statement. Look, if you're going to ignore my points, throw up strawmen, hang on false dichotomies...don't bother, I'm not biting. I never even advocated a salary cap.
If a team, any team, can outspend everyone else and still rake it in, that's great...I'll respect the management skills and the good fortune of being in the right place...that is entirely different than the team's performance. Such a team is in a no-win situation...if they win, well they were expected to, so no big deal...if they lose, they're a joke. Do you see where I'm going with this (probably not)? Back to my original point...
