They come in groups connected by invisible threads of material. What's odd is the variety of shapes, sizes and internal structure. Shouldn't look at the colors because they are exaggerated. Galaxies are where it's happening, the spaces between galaxies might or might not have as much matter or even more, but it's cold --dust of ancient fires and gases of future fires.
