Miss Cote, Robt. is kindly reminding us Canadiananians on Canaduh Day that B.T. (Before Trudeau) a larger percentage of the population of Canada than now were interested in fighting for freedom. Whereas now a larger percentage is more interested in having more security brought to us by our "wonderful" gummint at enormous expense. I don't need a reminder, I've still got my dad who joined the Canadian Air Force in 1940 and was therefore fighting Germans before the U.S. and due to a drunken incident by one of his pilots in 1962 was sort of still sort of fighting Germans long after the Americans were through with them, but that's a long silly story I'm not telling here. The long silly story I may tell here is an insomniac stream of consciousness (if I could be said to be conscious) bit of fluff that may belong in the Belvedere Room if it isn't going to be so silly.
By the way, noting the time of your post to Robt., I see your were up VERY early celebrating Canada Day. Have a hasppy one! While you're at it, maybe you can explain to me what the word "hasppy" is supposed to mean. :^)
And let me take this moment to wish all of my American friends a happy Fourth of July this Thursday in case I get hit by a truck before it arrives!
Ummm. Yeah. :-) OK!
And let me take this moment to wish all of my American friends a happy Fourth of July this Thursday in case I get hit by a truck before it arrives!Thanks, Argh. Hope your Canada Day celebrations were wonderful! We may go into town to view some fireworks tonight, or, we may stay home and make some of our own. ( ;
