The dreadlocked doyenne of comedy shocked - and thrilled - an audience attending a gay award ceremony at City Hall last night when she announced that she once dabbled in some sapphic sister acts.
"There was a time I played on both sides of the street," Goldberg told an audience of about 600 at the Absolutely Fabulous 2002 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride Awards.

The only funny line I can remember from Whoopi is in Jumping Jack Flash- "I'm a little black woman in a big silver box, you can't miss me!" (While being pulled down the street in a phone booth)
