Maybe it's just me, but I seriously doubt any fans wanted the movie to be renamed. Sometimes, I seriously doubt the intelligence of the members of the press.

I just finishsed The Return of the King and am re-reading The Two Towers so I'll have more comprehension of what's happening when I see the movie. Which cannot be too soon!
