Actually bird crap isn't too bad unless you are in their rookery and there is mold present, in which case you might get aspergillosis. But it is highly unlikely unless there is a great concentration of the stuff.

Oh and you *can* get giardia or salmonella if you want to *eat* the bird droppings.

So I guess the answer is no. Unless they keep pooping on my beach towel.
