Nude and portrait models earn around $9.50 to $12 per hour, but the guild is fighting for at least a $15 hourly rate$15 an hour to stand there bare beem and buck naked,hmmm,wonder if they need middle aged male models;)

I applied for a one-time gig as a nude male model at a local women's college. When they said their normal rate was $15 for the hour, I said "I can't really afford that. How about I pay you $10 now and owe you $5?"

Another guild member writes a newsletter to keep people abreast of nude modeling developments.

They get $15/hr. where I take classes. What they do is difficult (holding poses for exended periods without moving), but doesn't require a skill that takes a long time to learn. Of course, not everyone wants to do this.
I think figure drawing models would make good deer hunters as a big part of deer hunting is the ability to keep still for extended periods.
