I had not posted here in a while and now I find that F.R. has dumbed down their posting format.
I guess it was bound to happen. I enjoyed the HTML because it forced me to think and learn while posting news, events, and replies here on F.R..
Now just anyone can come along and post anything with no thought at all. (HMMMM?)

Html is ONE skill.
Should we call the other character a bonehead because he doesn't know Chinese?

Bowana...
You would deny us access to a cross section of America versus a group skilled in puters?
I have zero interest in puters, telephones, fax or any other medium of communication. My interest is in what and who is on the other end of the line. My Ford will get me there, I do not need a Lincoln.
I would be shocked if Robinson originated this forum with HTML skills in mind. I have been misguided into thinking all this time that a "conservative" forum had been created for the open exchange of ideas. Here all the time it is for the people with whom HTML skills are of a particular interest.

bonehead-formatted allruntogether post from folks who don't know html
but I
like bonehead-formatted allruntogether post from folks who don't know html
Its what made America great .... When our founding fathers debated the bill of rights by the light of a flickering candle over an open fire, do you think they had "auto detect", HA ... they had to detect for themselves and in those hallow halls of fiery fortitude, no spell checker was to be found, except perhaps the occasional busy body who used to teach English at the local school and was a little anal retentive to begin with. So in conclusion I say " thank God" for the freedom to speak freely and make a fool of oneself on a daily basis.... when do we get multi lingual buttons?

The basic HTML to format a paragraph or two is far from being skilled in puters!
AND NO, as I said the more the merrier!
