"The men have behaved themselves the best I saw them either home or abroad. Every man has seemed to be on his good behavior since we entered Atlanta. The women have been dressed up waiting for our men to commence raping but they have waited in vain. There has not been a single outrage commited in this city , a circumstance that the people say they cannot say for the rebel army." - William Dunn, Surgeon, 89th Pennsylvania, September 1864.

Sounds like the killer/rapists/arsonists wore grey.

did you think that one of the damnyankee officers would admit to Crimes Against Humanity?

intrestingly, the damnyankees DID execute SOME FEW war criminals for INDIVIDUAL acts against CIVILIANS, but NEVER tried ANY commissioned officer, of any rank, for the WAR CRIMES his unit committed as a UNIT or ANYBODY for the literally THOUSANDS of MURDERS (at LEAST 50,000 prisoners were MURDERED with bureaucratic efficiency.)committed on POWs in damnyankee prisons!
