I am new to soccer. Is it considered bad manners to drink Cabernet while watching the World Cup - I mean, as long as one waits until 7:00 a.m. to begin.

Actually, the proper drinking etiquette is to use the time where the match is being played. Since it will be evening in Korea, you are safe. ;-)
