1. Please explain the "anonymity" stuff. I posted a "test" and my identity did not appear to be revealed, only my screen name. What on earth is this "anonymity" stuff? It makes no sense to me and it has me concerned (although I guess it's too late to worry about it now.)

2. Why does the reply page say HTML okay? Is HTML no longer required? I previewed a post in which I did not use HTML and it didn't have line breaks or paragraphs. Is there now a way to post without needing HTML? I would think so since HTML "okay" implies it is not necessary.

JohnRob answered your first question at 26 and 27... it simply puts you on the list of people that have posted to the forum, that I imagine will be able to be viewed.

Nevermind the anonymity stuff, it was badly worded, and the function it represents is not really coded into the forum just yet. It basically says that by posting a message you will show your screen name. But not worded nearly as clearly as that.

Some text boxes allow HTML, most do not. I'm trying to label those text boxes that do allow HTML.
