| Live fish forces itself into man's throat |
A Thai fisherman had an emergency operation after a live fish forced its way into his throat.
Tongsuk Kungked was holding the fish in his mouth so his hands would be free to hold a fishing rod and rebait the line.
But the fish pushed its way further into his mouth and got jammed in his throat.
He managed to get home and his wife took him to Prasat hospital in Surin.
Doctor Sinchai Tuntirattananon cut open his throat to remove the fish.
The 26-year-old fisherman's wife told the Kao Sod newspaper he was in extreme pain when he swallowed the fish and was having difficulty breathing.
Fate.
