Well, I am going to guess that many of the LoTR fans read the ballot and couldn't vote because they were too busy writing long essays contesting the wording of the ballot, arguing that TTT is not really a sequel and doesn't belong on the list... I'm guessing it's because we know how LoTR turns out, but people don't know how the other storylines will play out. So there is a TAD more anticipation for the other sequels.
