"The government has denied Habeas Corpus to Padilla. " Respectfully, I think you have just been confused by his removal from civilian to military authority. Maybe you're thinking of the denial of h-b because he was moved and no longer in the venue it was filed earlier?
AFAIK his h-b from the military jail has not been ruled on.
