Yes sir, no one could take the wind out of the sails of the elitists faster than old Bert.

Ain't that the truth. Bert's birthday is Aug. 16th, and I believe he turned 75 last year. I didn't agree with him on a few things, but I believe he was a WWII and Korean War vet, which should always command respect. He's funny, independant, and a real kick in the butt.

He became a high school history teacher after retiring from the military and said he chose his name "A+Bert" because his name was Bert and he gave himself an A+. He is a salty old dog, and I miss him.

Brand X....

Who among these infidels had the temerity to raise the name of A+Bert??????

Old Bert was or is one of a kind. He took great pleasure in exploding the self styled aura of elitism, of any type, that is often displayed by some members of FR.

Like you, Bert had an excellent BS meter, only a few tried to overload that meter and all failed. Some still here that I could name.
