I don't think we should base our financial support of FR upon where The Guild thread is placed. I don't blame you for wishing we were in a different category - so do I, but raising it as an issue of financial leverage makes me uncomfortable. It kinda sounds like "if ya don't do it my way, I'm taking my ball and going home." And realistically, if I were running FR, I think I'd have more things to concern me than where The Guild thread gets placed. Also, I doubt that the financial support of Guilders is so great that threatening withholding of our donations would get much attention.
I know you mean this with the best of intentions, I just will continue my support and keep my ball in the game, so to speak, because there are so many wonderful things about FR that I think are so worthy of my money. Hang in there, baby!
I think the Guild is a cornerstone to get people to sample the topic.
So I don't think it is a slight for thr thread to be in the so called 'cheese hole' becuase it is helping build the topic header.

I've been here since 1998, just like you. I've seen this place go thur many changes. I have seen others get more respect and treated better for less than what we are asking. I did not say we should with hold our financial support to FR. I said, we should mention how we feel when we give our donation. If I remember correctly, isn't there a box where you could write in a comment? Also writing Jim a nice note asking him to give the Guild a "Daily Thread" status would be nice.
