Let's pray DOOM III supports add-ons as well as its predecessors did: being able to blast away a giant Bill Clinton head spitting out "TAX" and "SPEND" was just too fun :-)

Doom never held the same level of excitement for me as Duke Nukem3D. I STILL love to play Duke.

Image from the game:

Actual game NOT a cut-scene. I wonder if my system could even handle this. 900Mhz 256MB DDR Ram and Geforce2 video card. It may be too much for it.

"Reznor is taking the same detailed care with his haunting surround soundtrack.

Rob Zombie did some good Quake background riffs too. I hope he adds a few pieces to this.

I bought my first computer in '93. It was a *used* 486, 33Mhz and I paid $1250 for the thing. It came with the original Doom already loaded. I must've played that game for hours on end. I think I failed a few college courses thanks to Doom.

I still love it (even if the graphics are prehistoric). Looking forward to this one.

Incidentally, the following year I used the same computer to go online for the first time (after I installed a "high-speed" 14.4k modem)!
