I agree with you on Jeff Agoos. He was terrible. He has been a real thorn for the U.S. He looks old and very slow. Friedel was unbelieveable. I could not believe he saved that free kick. S. Korea was in better shape than the U.S. and the U.S. is suppose to be a very fit team. They got lucky with a draw and will need to need to get at least a draw against Poland to advance.

As for soccer being a "fag" sport? I think that our friend Clemenza and others (if they are male) are nursing some long-repressed homosexual fantasies about male athletes in general.

LOL. Actually, soccer ("calcio") was popular with a lot of the older Italian guys who came over after WWII who lived in my area of NY (Nassau County, near Queens) when I was a kid. Furthermore, I now live in a neighborhood in Miami that is largely Colombian and work mostly with Latin Americans of various nationalities. You would be taking your life in your hands if you called soccer what it is. Most norteamericanos that I know who like soccer tend to be liberal Europhiles (are there any other?) and moms "concerned" about safety.

We have enough sports to keep us preoccupied. The rest of the world doesn't give a sh-t about our football, we in turn don't give a flying f-ck about theirs. That's just the way it is...

Perhaps those South Koreans would like to STARVE right along with their neighbors to the North. Ingrates!!! I agree, get the US out of Korea and let them all starve.
