Round Eight: Tyson charges out once again to try and catch Lewis by surprise. The American's reach is far smaller than that of Lewis' and can only land body shots. Tyson suddenly collapses to one knee as Lewis reaches for the killer blow only to be stopped by referee Cotton. Tyson is counted out once. The American rises again but is knocked to the floor by Lewis. The fight is stopped and Lewis retains his world championship titles.
