Former U.S. President Bill Clinton returned today, June 5th, to Northern Ireland to open a new peace center named in his honor, but Catholic-Protestant street fights in Belfast demonstrated that the 1998 political pact he encouraged hasn't soothed traditional hatreds.
OOPS! My mistake. The pervert is out of the counrty again. I bet he's gonna vist the drunk and disorderly Chelsea.

The pervert is back in the states. He certainly does like to comfort widows, doesn't he?

Bush never left conservatives. Bush is not a middle of the road kind of guy, but what Bush does do, and what many Freepers fail to do, is to recognize that we can't be black and white and call anyone who doesn't agree with us 100% scum. Bush can be friends with democrats. There is no shame in that. It actually makes him a bigger man. You're so right! This is exactly what W has always been able to do. In Texas, he was renowned for his ability to work with both sides of the aisle. He knows that compromises have to be made, and he will make them. And along the way, he gets what he wants accomplished too. He has a remarkable ability to do this, from what I've read, much more than most people.

Someone said 'Downtown Detroit is like Cleveland without the glitz..' OMG! I just about blew Crystal Light through my nose when I read that! LOL!!! I didn't know there were any other hockey fans on the guild!
HLL, you are my sworn hockey enemy! I am a Chicago Blackhawks fan. (No Blackhawk jokes, we didn't suck nearly as bad as we did last season!)
I have to root for the Canes, not only because I will root for just about anyone to stomp Detroit, but they are such great underdogs! If you had said in the pre-season that the Stanley Cup was going to go to either Detroit or Carolina you would have been laughed out of the room. To quote Bill Murray in Caddyshack, "It's a Cinderalla story."
And while I am on the subject of hockey, congratulations to the Chicago Wolves who won the Calder Cup of the AHL in a double OT nailbiter AND thier first season in the AHL. Not all Chicago hockey sucks.

Who's watching the poor puppy?I ask where is PETA in all this?? The jerks last 2 dogs darted into traffic because it was probably better then living with that loser and company and where is the outcry? Now he has a 3rd dog? Poor baby. How long before he makes the last dash for freedom?
To: retrokitten
It just makes me sick about this new dog of bj's. What a sad life, being tended to by caretakers, maybe getting a ball thrown at him now and then. Just so bj can say he has a dog at "home". Ha, he's barely ever there. Always on a plane, trying to find his legacy in some foreign land.
I wish there was something to be done. It's such a sad story.
To: Teacup
Nice photo of Rummy! I hope he doesn't run into any trouble over there, I'm kind of worried about his safety.

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld addresses a news conference in London, June 5, 2002.

Well, Seamus is certainly adorable. Poor little baby. The story says he's still at his kennel in Maryland. BJ doesn't deserve this puppy. What a little sweetheart!

What a doll! We live in a condo that doesn't allow dogs. I miss having a dog so much. Poor thing.

"Shame Us"...what a perfect name for the pervert's pooch! I think there's something Freudian going on here...LOL!
T'Cup....75 pounds! Unreal...you must be gorgeous, cause you sure were cute before.
Mountaineer: If you go to Paris in October, tell me when and maybe we can meet on the Pont Neuf! (I'll be the one in the skinny black pants!). I'll be there 10/17 thru 11/3. Would that be a blast or what!?

Anyone on the Guild from the Bay area. I'll be there from the 18th-27th of June. (visiting relatives)

That's a good radio lineup I also like Mike Reagan (Ronaldus Maxiumus's step son) in the evenings.

I think the perv went right to Ireland from the funeral in Arkansas. Even at a funeral, he seizes the opportunity to put the squeeze on attractive - albeit older - women.

Again I believe that Rush has to make himself different from O'Reilly and that includes egging on the anti Bush people and then backing down the next day when Dubya 'comes back to Jesus' on the enviornment.
This is more about waiting until O'Rielly goes back to TV or moves to a different time spot.
If I was advising O'Reilly I would have told him to go for the time spot BEFORE Rush and he could get good numbers there, we don't need to be doing battle against each other.
To: Aggie Mama
And the Algore column was really over the line yesterday, I think that was a major reason Rush was backtracking all this week.
To: Timeout
That would be fantastic to rendezvous on the Pont Neuf! We haven't booked any flights yet (I think my husband was trying to decide whether he wanted to run an October marathon first) and our dates are not yet firm, but if it's at all possible, we'll be seeing you in Paris. Woo hoo! What fun.
To: Teacup
Good point O'Reilly got the same message when he went to one of Sally Quinn's Washington Liberal parties and just left.
Everone was backbiting and gossiping like vipers on the open. (at least we in the GOP have the decency to gossip in private here where no one can find us and put us on the news..)
Drudge turned that party into the **'O Reilly kicked off of Newsweek Cover for bolting Liberal Washington Party'** story
