Oh he is soo cute. Why oh why does the big creep gets dogs? He doesn't take care of them and he never spends time with them. It's just plain crule. But you know the creep. He only thinks of himself. He doesn't care about the puppy. The puppy put his name in the news today, that's all. The puppy only helps to prove to all those clintonistas, he's somewhat human. Bubba, easy come, easy go.

I have a gross ( but kinda TEACUP funny )story to tell all of you. Out here on the local news. They reported that they found a badly decomposed body of a man in an apartment high rise. They think it's the man who lived there. Here's the strange part. They interviewed the apartment neighbors about "how they felt" knowing they were living with a dead person in their high rise. This guy says, in a rather intelligent voice, "Oh it's disconcerning. Especially living on the same floor."

DUH!!!!! Didn't he smell anything??? What must that building smell like, LOL,LOL,LOL. I haven't stopped laughing at that! HA! These building in DC are all nice high rise closely built. Now remember, the body was decomposed already they couldn't make a possitve ID until yesterday. Oh man, you can't make this up.

Wait until his friend repeats that during dinner at home.
My son plays with Thomas the Tank Engine toys, I'll never be able to look at those things the same way again.

Here's something else to share, a little more inspiring than the scavanger hunt stuff:

"...the whole world has seen for itself the state of our union and it is strong."

I found this today when looking for photos of President Bush.

I checked out the D Day site. Awesome.

Meanwhile, my TV was droning in the background with the Senate Investigative hearings re: the FBI. And guess what I suddenly realized:

(Shouting through hands cupped around mouth)

SENATOR PATRICK LEAHY IS STILL A POMPOUS A-HOLE!

Leahy could have played the Joker in the Batman movies - without makeup.

2004 political convention news from NY Post:

CONVENTIONAL wisdom suggests that New York can score both party presidential nominating fests in 2004. And certainly Mayor Mike Bloomberg has been massaging the Republicans and the Democrats to bring their silly hats and noisemakers to the Big Apple. But my more hard-nosed political sources suggest the honeymoon with N.Y.C. is almost over and we could well end up with no conventioneers at all. The GOP (or at least President Dubya) is leaning toward Miami. Bush is keen to give his brother Jeb, the Florida governor, a boost and also to make sure that this time around everyone from the Sunshine State gives him an undisputed victory in the presidential ballot.

On the Democratic side, Sen. Ted Kennedy continues to put his considerable weight behind his home town of Boston for the convention site and the accompanying windfall. Ted's elder statesman status will help Beantown, as will the fact that some Dems don't want to stage their show here because, by 2004, it will be even more Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's town. The anti-Hillarys would like to keep her on neutral ground.

Reminder - we have discussed here the possibility of a Guild get-together at the GOP convention, wherever it may be.

Here's at least one reason to like W:

'PRESIDENT George Bush regularly joshes around with reporters and gives them nicknames that suggest an easy familiarity. Privately, however, his advisers confide that he considers most of them to be preening, two-faced, left-wing egotists who are out to get him.

"For their part, the White House news-pack - particularly the network broadcasters - suck up shamelessly to the president and his aides, while privately ridiculing them. Certainly, most have a natural inclination to look down on the homespun Texan."

This is from media reporter Toby Harnden in Great Britain.

WELL, I know a lot about homespun Texans. But how "homespun" can a fellow educated at Andover, Yale and the Harvard Business School, really be? His grandfather and father were Connecticut patricians. It's like putting on cowboy boots the moment one leaves the Austin city limits. You just do it for the fun of it.

Unfortunately, Texan, part-time lesbian and Dem suckup Liz Smith, who wrote this, is woefully wrong in her last sentence. Does she really think the cowboy hat, the pickup and the ranch are just an act with GWB? He strikes me as being infinitely more comfortable and at home in jeans and boots in Crawford than in a tux at a state dinner.

White House aides are shaking their heads in disbelief over chief of staff Andy Card's loose talk in the new issue of Esquire. Card, who also worked for President Bush the Elder, has a reputation for keeping mum. But in a story about the departure of George W. Bush counselor Karen Hughes, Andy shows his cards.

"Listen, the President is in a state of denial about what Karen's departure will mean, so is the First Lady, and so is Karen herself," he tells writer Ron Suskind.

"The whole balance of the place, the balance of what has worked up to now for George Bush, is gone, simply gone," Card says. "She's leaving when the President has one of the highest approval ratings on record. From here, it can only go down. And when it does, you know who they're going to blame? They're gonna blame Andy Card."

No word yet on how Bush himself has reacted to Card's frank talk, but a senior Bush adviser declared: "Ho-ly [bleep]! Andy is Mr. Cautious. What the hell was he thinking?" NY Daily News

I don't know, but I think the comment about get blamed for declining "ratings" was tongue-in-cheek.

We had cold and rain a couple of weeks ago, there was even snow in the Sierra. I was wishing then for some of that global warming. Well, we have at least a bit of local warming now. It will be in the 90's today. And I don't mind...

Hi everyone. Is anyone going to start a new thread today? I hope so. I just got in from washing my car. Whew it's hot today. The grandkids are in the swimming pool.

Hey, it seems the Perv is not using UNION workers to build his LIE-bury in Ark. I thought he was all for the UNIONS? What a phoney liar!

You are spot on with your assessment of the President.
The Bible says that all things work together for good, for those people who love the Lord, and are called according to his purpose.

I believe that our President is exactly where he is supposed to be, even though he would rather be with his wife and family and friends in Crawford, Texas.
