Dark Horzizions (Movie news site) is reporting that Natalie Portman will appear on the 'Return of the Jedi-Star Wars Episode VI' Digital Video Disc.
Music Television apparently re-iterated rumours that Natalie Portman (Senator/Queen Padme Amidala) has signed on to be a part of the new scenes being filmed for 'Episode VI-Return of the Jedi'
She will shoot scenes during the production of Episode III ('Rise of the Empire?-ed.) which will then be re-inserted into the Digital Video Disc release of 'Jedi.'

Why did Qui-Gon and Anakin, upon death, remain corporeal, while Obi-Wan and Yoda vanished? That question was rumored to be answered in Ep2, and obviously wasn't.This is one of the most easily answered by one word: "Cut!" Were Qui-Gon and Anaken gone when the scene cut away? Yes Qui-Gon was dying with a wound that was clearly mortal but Dead??? Did Luke truly cremate his frather or just his re-assembled metalic remains?
I have a fealing that details like this will have Star Wars nerds tearing at their pocket protectors and submitting storylines using the mission editor in Jedi Knight II! I really can't see how Lucas can tie evething up in just one 2.5 hour movie.

I'm hoping that Lucas steals a page from the old Hammer films and includes a scene of Darth Sidious torturing Jar-Jar Binks!

I don't think we are that lucky!

Put Jar-Jar on Alderaan, huh? I *like* it! The script modifications might be tough... they'll have to find someone who can do a credible vocal imitation of Sir Alec Guinness...
BEN: I felt a great disturbance in the Force...as if millions of voices suddenly cried out, shouting "HURRAH!" and then were suddenly silenced. I fear something terribly overdue has happened.

I like Christoper Lee okay, he was good in Lord of the Rings as well. I'm hoping that he puts in a more formidible role in the next installment of Lord Of The Rings.
