It is sad that many of the WWII vets have passed and more passing every day. I plan to order my father's service records, so I will at least know a little more about what he may have done, and where he had been. It wasn't something he talked about.

What a great idea. My dad didn't want to talk about it either. My uncle did. He was a very active memeber of the American legend and other vets organizations. He told me, just before he died, how he and his vet brothers met every day for coffe at the Burger King. Everyone is differnt. For my uncle, it was an adventure. For my dad, no way! Mom used to tell us not to ask him too many questions about the war. Thanks ;^)
