Seriously, we do get a lot of complaints about this. It only makes sense that if you request to be taken off a ping list that person should take you off. We may have to institute a ping patrol if this gets any worse. Someday, we will have an ignore button (that'll end it for the out of control ping bandits once and for all) but we're not quite there yet.

Any hope to get the capability of the "bump list" into the new system soon?
So that you could subscribe to lists controlled by topics and keywords.
And add keywords to already posted articles like we can now do with topics. I think that would cut way down on the use of ping lists.
