In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. More like One Particular Wife. And she really is particular. She spent 11 hours picking out a nine dollar piece of pottery. I spent twenty minutes picking out my last car. Hey, we can spend the time waiting for them to shop, thanking the Good lord, they weren't that picky when finding a mate, or We'd all be single!

"Does your monitor have a seventeen inch (or larger) diagonal?...(Shocked voice...!)
How dare you imply her bottom won't fit on top of a standard legal-size Xerox machine!
The nerve!
(Now, if she'd just wiggle a bit I'm sure we could fit everything on a single microfilm cartridge though....)

Hugo Chavez's followers wax romantically about his Bolivarian Revolution. Unfortunately, for them, he isn't feeling romantic, or loyal or anything toward them. He's using their fervor to gain power and turn the Venezuelan government into a Marxist system. Soon their oil exports to the U.S. may wane.
Chavistas Still Committed - While Chavez Accumulates Power
A supporter of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez holds up a copy of the national constitution in Caracas, Venezuela, during a rally April 19, 2002. With much the same energy shown during Mao Tse Tung's "Cultural Revolution" of the 1960s, some Venezuelans still pursue a "Bolivarian Revolution" based on the beliefs of a 19th-century patriot as filtered through the mind of President Hugo Chavez. Its nationalist ideals offer militant Chavez followers an element of racial and class redemption in a country long dominated by a mostly white elite. But some say that since Chavez took office three years ago, the revolution has become less a matter of ideology than of power.(AP Photo/Douglas Engle) - Apr 24 9:50 PM ET

t was that free milk thing my mother told me about.... I never believed that to be true. I mean you don't buy shoes without trying them on first, nor a car without a test drive....If the Shoe fits, or the Car handles well...you buy it.
And you know, once you wear the shoes outside, you can't return'em....
