I've noticed this for several weeks. I don't know if they're ashamed to be associated with us retards, or if they're so used to clicking on the smart section that they're too LAZY to do something different and click on the retard button upon which they're not accustomed to clicking. Kindly notice neither of the above sentences ends in a preposition, but it was difficult to avoid for.
DAMN it!

The Sims is a CD-ROM game that starts you off with a simulated neighborhood full of different characters. You add your own characters (you design their personalities - even Zodiac signs). You start with a small sum that you use to build and furnish a sparse house. You have to train them - even to clean up the dishes and take regular baths - and find them jobs. They make friends (or enemies, or love triangles) with the others in the neighborhood. As they work, play, etc., they build up characteristics, you can buy stuff, add rooms, etc. There are even expansion packs with nightclubs, etc., to add to the interpersonal interplay.
It's somewhat "euro" in design and morality, but it's still fun. My first guy died, his female partner got all depressed, and his ghost haunted the house. I had to restart.

Thank you Gabz, "funny" is the nicest adjective I'd had directed at me in some time. I won't offend your eyeballs with a list of the usual adjectival hailstorms I get directed at me. I've got a ton of work to do, so I'll see you all later. Or else the appropriate adjectives directed at me would soon be "unemployed", "homeless", "starving", and "dead".

you do have a perverse sense of amusement, don't you? ;)
To: lds23
Oh yikes.... I don't even want to consider what any of my characters would do.
Sounds interesting.

Media Credibility? That's an oxymoron.

"I mean I think the whole Nine different thread lines thing, was lame to begin with."
me too! is it my imagination or are there fewer posters now that this new format has been done? it seems to me, i haven't seen a lot of the regulars in a long time.

In my first run through, the female of the couple had a girlfriend that kept dropping by (the characters have some "free will", too). After a few days, the two of them were dancing and hugging and eventually fell in love (the game doesn't get graphic in such matters). The guy would walk in and find them together, and get all mad. Obviously, I did not design him correctly.
