I fixed the Previous Threads Link. It only works for the new format, but it's better than nothing.

Love is patient, Love is kind,
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.
Love always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends.

What an uplifting way to start a beautiful spring Sunday!
Here's a little joke Mr. West brought home the other day.
Q: What did one snail say to the other as they rode on the back of the turtle?

The Keukenhof Tulip (and Hyacinth, etc.) Gardens

Some times there are shows on Discovery or The Learning Channel about this garden, catch it when you can.

Betty, Betty, Betty, what are you doing up at this hour of the morning?
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Allergy attack. What in the world were you doing up so early?
Sorry, I would have hung around but didn't think anybody would be up.

This is too funny! I found it on another thread, this is the kind of tasteful humor we love! Please don't hold out on us, post all your good stuff!

hehehe, the more I look at it the more Algore looks like Bat Boy.
To: BigWaveBetty
Wow - where are those gardens?

Do you know there were people at that Florida Dem convention who won't vote for AL because he didn't work hard enough to overturn the election!? They said the Bush people were much tougher. Ha! Can anyone say "David Boies"?

Good morning! Love the tulips. Big thunder storm here! WHo can sleep? Please keep hoomama in prayers. Even though I'm temp out of the building with illness, an still under attack by principal. Have turned it over to our superintendent and then on to the union if nothing is done. Looks like it may end up in a law suit. BOOOOHOOOO SO you see how much I need both your lovely garden and the scripture. Keep the joy coming!

Goodness, I thought the garden was in Germany until I searched more closely. That's the one I've seen on tv, come to think of it, it might have been Home and Garden TV. I'll ask hubby. Anyway here's a snip of the history and
link.History of Keukenhof
In the 15th century, the area where Keukenhof is now located consisted of woods and dunes. Here game was hunted by the inhabitants of the Teylingen castle, the remains of which can still be seen. From 1401 to 1436 this estate belonged to the Countess of Holland, Jacoba van Beieren. It was her court to sojourn, to hunt and to gather herbs for the castle's kitchen. Hence the name Keukenhof (kitchen garden).
Now I'm going to have to try and find the garden I thought this one was. Did that make sense?

I saw all kinds of interesting types at the dem Conf. I'm so glad they have wacko tin foil freaks just like republicans do. I witnessed some thing Friday on Inside Politics that makes me what to invest in a Tivo. I could hardly believe me eyes, Judy Woodruff is interviewing three delegates from around the state. One woman's grammar is so awful that I can barely make out she's speaking English. And no, she didn't have an accent. The content of her missive as near as I could make out was that Algore wasn't about to get the nod just because he's Algore, it's a whole new game.

Thank you for bringing those beautiful gardens to us. My, they are really breath taking.

'Caught the re-run of Albaby's speech last night, followed by the strains (?) of "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet". Contrary to the tune, I DID see his massive sweat stains and the back view of the two very chunky Gores.
Al's chunky; Dubya's a CHUNK! LOL
