WASHINGTON (AP) _ A third ownership group has emerged in the campaign to bring a major league baseball team to the Washington area.

Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder and Black Entertainment Television founder Robert Johnson have joined forces to try to buy a team.

Slightly off topic, but curious..BET used to be headquartered in Harlem, across the street from Clinton's new offices..Theey're one of the largest employers in Harlem, and very high profile..They were going to expand their operations, build a huge new studio, and hire several hundred more people..it would have meanty a lot of dollars coming into the area..last month, they pulled out, they're moving to midtown......
