Yes, they were good and worth the wait, although I worried about my little blond three year old...he burns so easy. But along came a worker with a paper hat for him and that problem was solved!
Then we got inside and the place where they are made was right there where the boys could watch. The workers were smiling and waving at the boys and they were thrilled. Each person that came through the door had their own "donut getter" and that person stuck with you till you checked out. They just rotated about 15-20 young people through, each helping one person. The line was just as long as it was when we joined it, when we left.
I don't understand this donut behavior! - Is the same phenomenon as the Moms scratching each other over "Tickle me Elmo"? I have never had Krispy Kremes, but I can't imagine a donut worth a wait. Isn't a donut a donut is a donut? We are a funny country!
