I can just leave the door open so the pets can wander in and out at will.

I have a pet door in the garage, and keep the door to the garage open, so our pets (only s poodle now), go in and out when they want.

Hullo LCS! I don't have a doggie door because my biggest dog is so big I could crawl through a doggie door made for him. I might has well just leave the door open for intruders! - If I had only small pets, I would go the doggie door route!
