Jeepers... I hope you get your virus killed soon!

I used Zone Alarm in the past and it is good, but would also recommend Trend's PC-Cillan. It updates itself when there is new stuff going around, and usually very fast. Keep that up to date and you should usually be safe, unless of course, you are the first person on earth to be sent a new virus!

Thanks for your words about the old dogs. I think I can boost Zulu along with the special rations and red cell. She is feeling better already. Because she has long curly hair, and because I see her every day, it was apparently easy to continue on with standard fare and not notice she is wasting away until I patted her bony behind! She is changing, and I was surprised when I finally noticed. I hope she puts weight on, if she doesn't, we will see the vet.

I hope my dad is able to get it cleared out for me! Is the PC-Cillan freeware?

Also, regarding Zulu. Have you tried giving her some Nutrical? It's a brown paste that comes in a tube. It's very sweet and promotes appetite, as well as, contains some valuable nutrients in a high calorie form.

I used it all the time when I fostered baby kittens and it really helped put on the pounds and made them hungry as can be. When I weaned them, I would mix a bit into the soft food to get them to eat it, being that they were familiar with the taste and smell of the Nutrical already. After their eating habits became satisfying, I would stop giving the Nutrical and that was that.

They should carry it at the feed store. If not, your vet definitely has it.
