Do you realize that one year ago today, I had never read The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. My friend would lend me her books around Thanksgiving.

I did read The Hobbit in 9th grade, where get this, Gollum actually freaked me out. I didn't like that character at all.

Now, I think he's so funny! Wicked, but funny!
