I like this assumed identity bit. I may have to join in. Can't be an elf. They're socialists. Dwarves are too materialistic. Hobbits are too trite. Have I made an enemy of everyone yet? ;-)

I suppose I'm solidly with those weak-willed men. Maybe the lakemen. Or the Beornings. Perhaps the Gondorians. I think I share certain personality traits with pompous master of the Houses of Healing, whose name escapes me at the moment. In my better moments, I aspire more towards Imrahil. Too many choices!

Hobbits are too trite.

At least we eat well!

Hobbits have more fun.

Just about. But ksen will love the company if you're a man. He's been the lonely Man of Gondor for a long time... And Bear is the only Beorning. We could use an ent. Ever considered being an ent? No, me neither.... A little too....too....old and earthy....

I only chose dwarf because when you go to Corin's profile page there is a link to a site that tells you your possible Middle Earth names (after keying in your real name), according to the Red Book of Westmarch. I liked my dwarf name best, plus I stumble a lot. Definite dwarf tendency.... But take your time....what's the rush....just don't get too hoity toity on us..... ;^)

Hi, Wordsmith,

"Can't be an elf. They're socialists"

That's a negative.

However I agree with someone who posted earlier, you have a beautiful family.

How do you figure that the elves are socialist? They seem to me to have more of a figurehead monarchy.... who don't seem to do a lot of governing that I can see.
