That's my sister in law's job in this house, calling around dawn and waking us up, that is. She's been up since 5:30 or so and gets bored.

My mom has this very aged, very ill poodle that has many diseases like Cushings and diabetes...she wants me to babysit it while they go to a senior retreat for the day.

This pooch would have died long ago if it hadn't been for the faithful ministrations of my mom...she only just recently trusted me enough to give it it's insulin shot! And yes, I'm an RN.

I think my folks are getting tired though. Poor people. The dog takes a lot of care and if they inlist the assistance of their bumbling worthless "ne'er do well" daughter, they must really need a break. So I do my very best and try to show them they can trust me.
