Nice S&W .357 - Mine is a Model 19. Custom Packmire (sp?) grips are available to fit Rose's hand comfortably, and the gun is heavy enough to not recoil too badly.

I carry an airweight .38 when traveling... but the lightweight guns kick like the dickens. That's OK for a carry gun... I don't need to shoot a thousand rounds through it, and if I do then sore wrists are the least of my worries!
