Whenever our kids get sick they get to be "King/Queen(depending on if it is the son(s) or daughter that is sick) for the Day."
That just means Mommy makes them a comfy spot on the couch with a table nearby and they get to pick what movies they'd like to watch.
BTW, 2JM I see the chess set in the pic, are the boys still using it? Mine play with it some, but when they are done they line the pieces up and have a war with them. ;^)
Also, is that one of the boys' school desk on the left-hand side? We have one of those for our Joshua(he's in third grade).

Problem was, it was two weeks before Christmas. So at every commercial...ring, ring, ring...

Yes, we still play the chess game every chance we get. Steve and Matthew took it to the chess club last Thursday and it was a big hit.
Yes, the blue feet are Matthew's desk feet. I bought it at a school garage sale for $4! Here's a better pic of it and our setup. Note the Preamble and the flag. We say the Preamble and the pledge every day before starting school...
